The Original Notions Co. is an idea cultivated from the mind of a very strange woman named Mellissa. While watching episodes of Junk Gypsies followed by episodes of Rehab Addict and West End Salvage, Mellissa; Being fascinated and awe-inspired by the creativity and sheer brazen attitude of deconstructing and reconstruction furniture and things that were long-since discarded, wondered why she couldn’t rehab and rekindle old things (jewelry, furniture and the like) into something new.
With an undying love for the bohemian life, classic movies and the 20s(Among many, many other things), Madame M has taken her ideas and have successfully applied them to reality. . She also doubles as a painter with a penchant for morphing people with trees.
Built in a little town called Springfield, Ohio, T.O.N.C. is a family-oriented business that loves creativity, fairy wings, all things French and British, Fun, Fantastic and Fantasy-like things. Hippies, Bohemians, Romantics, Alphonse Mucha and surely not to mention…coffee.
